Venetian Plaster

Comprised of slaked lime and marble dust, Venetian plaster is a modern family of traditional Italian plaster finishes, which are applied by trowel and spatula. Depending on the specific look, Venetian wall finishes range from a coarse, ‘rocky’ matte finish (such as: Intonachino) to a highly polished, glossy marble appearance (such as Grassello Lucido), which are applied in multiple layers with the final coat being burnished and then sealed with natural beeswax. Colour, form and texture can be manipulated to achieve an infinite range of stunning custom beauty for an interior ceiling, feature wall or fireplace.
